AITX San Antonio Meetup | October 8, 2024

We had 3 demos at this meetup:

1. Just Another LLM Evaluator by Christian Reetz

“Just Another LLM Evaluator” allows you to test models and compare them in different ways. From comparing LLM outputs from different models to testing results of transcription models.

It’s a great starting point for builders to start evaluating the models they’re using in their products.

2. Groe Solutions by Nicholas Pizzuti

Groe Solutions envisions a future where data-driven technology transforms health, fitness, and government sectors. Their mission is to bridge the gap between human connection and cutting-edge analytics, empowering organizations to:

  • The AI assistant acts as a "course expert" working alongside professors and TAs

  • Professors provide course data to guide the AI's output

  • The tool is already in use at universities in New York

Albertsons, United, and Market Street stores across Texas and New Mexico are introducing Tally, an AI-powered inventory robot.

Why it matters: This tech adoption could streamline operations in Texas grocery stores, potentially improving product availability and freeing up staff for customer service

Need-to-know:

  • Tally scans shelves 3-4 times daily, identifying 10 times more issues than manual checks

  • The robot aims to complement, not replace, human workers

  • A pilot program runs from October 2024 through January 2025
